Every year I decorate my Christmas table and make small adjustments like folding my napkins differently, adding pinecones to my runner decorations, or changing my candles.
I love a formal Christmas tablescape! Plates you can see your face in, crystal goblets that sparkle, garland with cranberries, pinecones, linen napkins, elegant reindeer, and tall Sacramento green candles give the look of a well-put-together table. I decorated my chandelier with garland, bows, cranberries, and diamond-shaped ornaments hanging from the bottom.
My Main Theme
Christmas is the one holiday that you can choose any theme you want. My favorite themed character is the reindeer. Champagne color or pewter to be precise. Those colors just have such a classy look. I incorporated reindeer in my Christmas tree and on my table. My collection has just begun. As I continue to build it, I will place them in different parts of my house!
My Fireplace
When I started putting decorations on my fireplace, I started out with a simple garland piece and a string of lights. As my love for decorating grew, I fell in love with the lush look of a thick, earthy, pine garland look. I added candles this year and a wreath with cranberries which I also love. Stockings are a must. And Sacramento velvet green bows at the end give it a rich look. To give it the finishing touches, I personalized it with framed stocking holders of my family.
The Tree, The Heart Of Christmas Decor
If we don’t have any other Christmas decor in our home, we have at least one Christmas tree. Over the years, people have become very creative. Whimsical, rustic, sports-themed and, upside-down trees are just to name a few. I’ve incorporated dark cranberry red velvet and reindeer ornaments. With Sacramento green velvet and champagne ribbons throughout the tree. Other ornaments include collectibles that tie in with the color scheme.
